Including a CV with submissions

Hi, I'm submitting picture books at the moment. One agency has asked for my CV. I'm assuming they would be referring to a writing CV, which other than university I have no actual experience! Usually I include a short paragraph in my cover letter briefly stating my careers (completely unrelated to creative writing) and my degree. This should be adequate shouldn't it? Or would you actually attach a CV with little relevance? Thank you.

Can you contact the agency, explain and see what they would prefer to see? It might be that they want a traditional cv for a box-ticking exercise, or there might be specific information they'd like to know? As long as you position it as a friendly question, so it doesn't come across as an arsey 'but do I have to?!' I'm sure you're not arsey btw Smile
