Structuring a Memoir

Just that really. I've become inspired to tell a warts an all story. Probably has a niche market, up to date subject, lots of material but absolutely no idea where to start. Im guessing I will still need a structure and plan as well as major highlights for the story. Feel a bit bamboozled tbh. Can anyone suggest a book or forum that can get me in the right track?

Life writing needs to be structured like fiction i.e. You need to narrate the story by way of beginning, middle and end ( which doesn't necessarily mean linear).

Choose any book or resource ( the internet is full of them) about how novels work and use it as a guide ( not a template).

The main decision will be what to put in and what to leave out. A decision made not on the basis of what appears most interesting but what fits the structure.
