What does a 3 line synopsis look like?

To submit to an agent? Could someone give me an example? I have googled but am still a bit unclear. It's for a children's book which would be part of a series, with illustrations and a moral tale in each one if that helps? Thanks

Does this help at all?
There is a comment with a three line pitch I think......

or this?

Write it as if its the blurb. Imagine someone taking it off the shelf and glancing at it. What's your USP? They only have 2 seconds to be persuaded.

Why not practice writing 3 sentence blurbs for books you already know?

Harry Potter has magical powers, but is only just finding out what they can do. When he starts school at Hogwarts School of Wizardry and Witchcraft, he finds as many enemies as he does friends...

You get the idea. Good luck!

Hi Shakey, I appreciate that this is an old thread but did you manage to write your 3 line synopsis - or as anyone else who wouldn't mind sharing it?

I have four sentences in the cover letter I've written to go out to agents. I'm resisting cutting it any further :D. But I would if they specify a certain amount. I've also been trying to cut it down for #pitmad on Twitter today (it's mostly American though so not sure what's the point) and have two and three sentence versions for that.
