Wattpad - worth it?

Just that really, had a quick look, but not sure if it's a good thing to consider.

I'm never convinced that posting your stories online before they're published (whether that's self-published or traditionally published) is a good idea - too many people out there lurking in the shadows who'd steal the ideas, in my opinion.

I think it looks like fun. I think its great to get some writing out there somehow. I wouldn't put your main work on there though.

I would do some practice and get some short stories on it and see if you get some feedback.

I have a secret thing for a bit of fan fiction. I really enjoy writing it so I'm going to try and put something up there. I am the eternally blocked and fearful writer so this will do me some good!

Depends what you're writing. I think the audience is mainly teens, so if you're writing YA it could work.
