Now done 4 or so of their day courses (called Stop F-ing about and start writing)... Basically a group of you in a little room no WiFi and the goal is to write as much as poss...

So smug but will probably not now do any till I kick myself up bum!

That sounds great! Where do you all go to? What happens if someone starts to talk (even if it's about their work)?

I work in the library and find I can concentrate really well there.

It is held in the New Writers centre south in Jew street just a small room round a massive table. There is a 'leader' either Sarah or Jo who 'make you' write in chunks of time ranging from 20 minutes to 45 minutes then stop for a five mins break for coffee chat or wee then another chunk.
Lunch is provided so is coffee, tea, fruit and pastries!

Sounds interesting but I wouldn't want someone telling me when to stop and start!

It's great in theory, but I can't think of anything more distracting! It's like being creative under exam conditions. But if people find it works for them, then fab.
