I'm a mum at home and have written a series of rhyming poems about unusual animals. I'm rubbish at art so looking for an illustrator to help me. Anyone out there interested ? Parsons Green based..

If you're going down the traditional publishing route (or hoping to), might be worth bearing in mind that they often prefer to use their own staff. Often, illustrators are on the payroll anyway, so it makes sense to match them up to text when it comes in.

I know a very good one if you want to PM me - his style is quite distinctive though.

Don't illustrate them. Send the text and if the publishers like your poems they will get them illustrated. Good luck!

A lot of publishers and agent already have illustrators on their books and will probably match you up with one if they take you on.
