Just wondering if anybody else is in the same position and fancies swapping manuscripts/agent letters/synopses?
I'm editing a memoir about alcoholism and student life. Was long listed for the Mslexia memoir comp last year and have been trying to improve my book since then. Had full manuscript report done a few months ago and have made quite a few edits based on it. Am now at a loss as to what to do with it next.
I can't afford another report and I wondered if there was anybody else dithering over submission because they want their book to be ship-shape and wanted to do a swap?
I have a fair amount of experience critiquing and I quite enjoy it, though have never done a whole book before. And I don't think I'd be the best person to critique Sci-fi or fantasy (probably not crime/thrillers either), but pretty much anything else I'd be okay with. I don't have a huge amount of time with two small children, but I do my best and somehow it usually all gets done.
