Agent requested pages...

...and I sent in fifty of them. How long should I wait? We've had a bit of email back and forth prior to me sending the pages, so I thought I might hear back sooner than normal. Anyone any experience of this?

As for how long it will take - well, how long's a piece of string, really? It might just be a few days but if they're busy they might not get to it for several weeks. I read a blogpost by one agent where she started reading a sub and was absolutely loving it (and eventually signed the author) but had a period of two weeks when she simply couldn't get to it because she had other stuff to read that had to take priority. So while they often will be quicker (mine took a week) if it takes longer it's not necessarily a bad sign.

I would chase after 4-6 weeks, probably nearer 6 if it runs over Christmas/New Year. Good luck!
