I'm having very interesting dreams

Last night I had a dream that I think would be a very good plot for a book or film.
However, I'm no writer.
Can I learn to write, or does there need to be some raw talent (of which I am sadly lacking) in the first place?
Or are there places to share plots with existing writers?

Anyone can learn to write. It helps to read a lot of books. It helps if the plot's yours though, it's hard to write if there's no passion there. Ghost writers are talented writers who basically write someone else's book for them.
The open university do a good creative writing course if you want to go down this route.
