Could someone tell me how to go about finding some interesting blogs to read/follow please? I stumble across a link to a block from time to time, and sometimes it might float my boat, and sometimes not.
Often I hear on MNers having blogs but I very rarely see a link to one.

How do I go about hunting for, and choosing blogs to follow in the same way that I might hunt for a good book to take on holiday? Whenever I've just googled 'search for blogs' or something the results have been far too random to be of any use!

depends what you are intersted in really I love the imagination tree www.theimaginationtree.com/ this lady is amazing and always writes about craft things she has done with her children a great inspiration I think. Also if you do a search on google you can click the "more" option on the left side and search specifically for blogs by clicking on "blogs" hope this helps :)

FellatioNelson · 28/02/2011 09:37

thank you. Are there websites specifically for people to publish their blogs, so like a big virtual bookshelf, where you register, then nosey through until you find some you like? or do people have their own website for their own blog?

DandyDan · 28/02/2011 16:05

Do you want blogs about creative writing, or about literature? about literature for grown-ups or children's lit? Or just blogs about life?

Wordpress run a good format for blogs - I know several there. Blogger is another one, I think.

FellatioNelson · 28/02/2011 16:13

Creative writing would be very good, and family life, and interiors/garden design or cookery would be nice too. Grin (wannabe Martha Stewart)

do pop along to cherrymenlove.com Grin

love you.

MmeLindt · 01/03/2011 07:59

The easiest way to find good blogs is to have a look at one you like and then check out the blogs that that person follows.

I can link to some of my favourites, if you want.

TheSydenhamSet · 01/03/2011 15:46

FellatioNelson · 01/03/2011 16:15

I have a blog here - madameguillotine.org.uk.

It was apparently one of the top ten parenting blogs last month, even though I um don't talk about parenting on there. It's family friendly though? I suppose? Although I did refer to someone looking like a 'talking toby jug full of piss' in my last post so probably not any more...

MmeGuillotine · 07/03/2011 22:25

Oh ffs - madameguillotine.org.uk

Hello... I've got a blog I've been doing for a couple of years on and off. I'm not an every day blogger but I try and get in there every week and update things. I say "try". Things often get in the way. It's this one Recycled Baby
