Does anybody have any advice please on next steps (getting representation etc) for a first screenplay?
Any help and advice welcome!

I think there's some info in the Writers & Artists year book. It's the same as looking for a lit agent, each agency's guidelines differ so you have to look on their web site. Hope this helps.

Also check out Zoetrope, the website. Although American - it has some good stuff there.

You can send screenplay direct to the BBC Writersroom who will read and review if they feel it's worth it. Then they will put you in touch with a producer if they feel it has potential.
If you're not familiar wih the website it's fabulous and a min of info.
