Can anyone make sense of what Ireland has become. In the same week that Grannies all over the country were warned they need to consent before asking their grandkids for a hug we now have a male who "assaulted" a 10 year old has all charges dropped and can walk free. Some reports say the 10 year old said she was 18 but no reason released as to why charges are dropped and he's free to go.
This week we also had a report about special accommodation for a girl being used by some gang but no mention they are being prosecuted
My heart breaks for the little girls who have no one looking out for them in their families as our political and legal classes certainly arent.

It's crazy - that's all I can say. Our political, NGO class, and civil service have lost the run of themselves. No common sense and no respect for the people in the rest of the country
