Primary Teachers in the Middle East

I saw an article on how the war in the Middle East is impacting the low paid workers in places like Dubai which is heavily reliant on tourism. My heart goes out to them.
It then got me thinking.
Quite a few Irish Primary teachers go out to the Middle East where they can earn tax free salaries and they can come back with sizeable savings.
What is happening there at the moment re schools ?
Have those teachers remained in Dubai, Abu Dahbi etc ?
Are children still going to school ?

I don't think the Americans are bombing and killing teachers yet.

Unless they're Iranian.

There are drones incoming and hotels, tourism and basic daily life has been affected.
Weren’t there queues of people trying to escape back to their home countries?
Those that could afford to leave.

I imagine if the teachers can't afford to get out by aeroplane, they take inspiration from Lawrence of Arabia and use a camel.

I think the Americans are just about able to work out via satellite which is a physics teacher on a camel and which is the ayatolla khomenie the second on a Soviet rocket launcher...

My bff is there at the moment teaching. Her school started online teaching the day of the first bomb. They had four weeks off over Easter and now they are online teaching again. The school offered to pay for flights but she didn’t want to leave.
