Are you PAYE or self-employed?

honeyrider · 29/04/2026 00:03

You don't submit the receipts but you keep them for 6 years. You need a letter from your doctor confirming you are coeliac.

You add up all the receipts incurred because of the coeliac disease and submit the figures under Health Expenses.

Sorry, what?

Ah brilliant thank you. I was thinking it was going to be a pain, but this is easier!

If you have coeliac disease, you get 20% of your related expenses back through your tax.

Is that in the UK?

Whatagooddog · 29/04/2026 07:48

What sort of expenses? Isn't there only food shopping?

Yes only crossed grain certified gluten free foods. Supermarkets such as Tesco and Dunnes will send you an annual list if you use their clubcards.

I have the little booklet yes 👍
I highlight everything on each receipt and add them up.
