Today FM Top 100

I have been hooked on Today FM's Top 100 Irish songs of all time. Thrilled they announced Zombie as no.1 and that U2 didn't make the Top 5! Any thoughts?

Yes, I was hooked all week too, it was great!! Rainy night in Soho was the winner for me, so glad it made the top three. Actually thought Maniac 2000 would have been in the top 10. What was your favourite?

@Snead808 I was delighted Rainy Night in Soho placed so high. I feel like it's often forgotten about and it's amazing! That was probably the one I was most excited to see. There were a good few songs I didn't know were sung by Irish bands too!

I missed Bell X 1 Flame- what number was it? Love that song!

I think it was no. 100, so just made it. Love that one too

Only 100?! No wonder I missed it! I thought it would be a lot higher than that!

Lots of good tracks on there.

I’m surprised that ‘Mary’ by The 4 Of Us wasn’t higher placed and I would’ve picked ‘Incoming’ and ‘Daisyhead’ as my Something Happens’ tracks.

Also surprised that A House aren’t on there for either ‘Endless Art’, ‘Call me Blue’ or ‘I Think I’m Going Mad’

And being a Nordie, I’d love to see a couple of Therapy? songs on there or at least just ‘Teethgrinder’.

I'm sorry I missed it. I tried to copy the list but couldn't only top 10. I'd say the age profile of the listeners is very obvious from the list!

Good top 10 only one I would take out is killeagh it's rubbish doubt it will be remembered in 20 years time

I am surprised Zombie was 1, I would think possibly top 10. I was discussing it with friends and we we're laughing at the absence of Six.

I voted for Zombie, Rainy Night In Soho, Killeagh, and Dreams so I was delighted with the top 10. Except U2 making the top 10! 🙄
