DD considering private halls with a group of her friends in one flat for 2nd year. Reason is she is from UK and her Irish friends tend to go home at weekends - so she won’t be alone. Also worried about leaving an empty house from 30 April to Mid Sept paying rent and bills. Looks like halls are expensive too but probs all same cost over 12 months and she would be safer and have facilities and other students around at weekends. Any experiences / opinions welcomed.
