Let the gigantic window installation commence!

I watched it too @LifeInAHamsterWheel
it was a good transformation but the kitchen wouldn’t be to my taste. You’re right that an attic conversion and a lower rating would have been better.
i too disliked the optical illusion floor in the house near the Aviva. It really got to my eyes too @JaneJeffer

I didn’t like its style either. Hated the red/terracotta colour.
I like white, ivory, cream and pastels so a nightmare for Dermot.
That was a really quick series and was surprised they didn’t venture further out of the Pale.
I’m watching Home of the Year Northern Ireland at the moment. There are some fabulous homes featured.
Gosh we’ll miss Hugh Wallace - the Irish series is nicer in its presentation.

Lovely episode great family and love that builder think I have seen him in it before. Agree show house was something out of the 1970s and very like my old school too with the exposed brick and red tiled floor I didn't like it at all. they loved it though so maybe was better in real life. Her mum was brilliant and right. Not sure on the attic conversion option I lived in a similar type house before and attic space was very small you would need a dormer which can be tricky to get planning permission for.

Agree NI one is ruined by having Laurence Llewelyn- Bowen on it, he is not needed the judges are great without him.
Was very sorry to hear about Greg's passing will be difficult to replace him, wonder what they will do

Yes, that builder looked familiar to me too, but I can't think where I would have come across him?

Hugh Wallace, not Greg Wallace! A much nicer man!

I live near a house from series one, and the big window extension is being removed! The house sold recently and I had a good nosy on Daft.
One day I'll crash the car trying to stare past the hordings to see what they are doing!

Oh god of course! can't edit it now

Just watched the last one now. They were a really likeable couple. It was nice to see indecisive people too, not everyone has views on counter tops and flooring.

i was really shocked the woman didn't wear a dress for the last visit. I thought it was compulsory!! Usually when the optimistic music starts and the presenter lifts his voice, the camera sweeps in showing Dermot arriving, the woman always opens the door in a dress. I'll have to complain
