Anyone's teens using online study grinds?

Any advice welcome for my first year student who could do with some maths support. Has anyone used stud*clix or the other online tuition companies I hear advertised? Any feedback welcome, thanks in advance

When my lads were in secondary school if you were an eir customer there was a free online study/grinds section. A teacher told me they were good.

Thanks @honeyrider for taking time to reply, we're not Eir customers unfortunately. I've done some research since, and I see TCD have free online grinds on brighterminds.ie we will try those.

That's good, even better when they're free.

Studyclix is more like revision materials with some video classes than a proper grind. Especially with maths finding a tutor they click with is very helpful.

@turkeyboots thank you, I'll have a look at studyclix to see if it may suit, revision materials is certainly all he needs at the moment to consolidate learning to date.

I hadn't got enough feedback on studyclix so i didnt pursue it. I felt he needed support with maths and we used brighterminds.ie it was free and offered him an extra hour weekly of guided tutoring through working through a workbook with the tutor, it was v helpful.
I haven't given studyclix any more thought , if he needs support this year in 2nd year I'm thinking local grinds if necessary. Best of luck

My 6th year uses Grinds360, and did last year as well. It’s pricey, but she is finding the maths in particular excellent. Not sure if it’s available for the junior cycle, but might be useful for someone
