Booking for Kilmainham Gaol

Hi all
I wanted to book for the gaol, to visit next month.
You can only book 28 days in advance. I went on at 6.30 this morning and it’s all booked up for the 18th Sept already.

Does anyone know if booking for the day opens at midnight?
I’m not normally awake at that time so need to plan!

Not a clue and did not realise it was so popular but there is availability on 17th sept if that helps or will you not be here then?

Ah thank you. Only one ticket available on 17th and I need 2!

I didn’t realise either. I went years ago with DD and I’m pretty sure we just turned up
on the day.

Yeah I am sure I have done the same the one time we went but you learn something new every day as they say.
Maybe just refresh the page during the day cos tickets have now become available for today literally after i refreshed so people possibly cancelling.

Access to the Gaol is by guided tour only, and you must pre-book your ticket. A select number of tours/tickets are released 28 days in advance and can be booked from midnight (Irish time). If your preferred time or date is not available, check our website from 9.15am on the day you wish to visit for additional tickets and cancellations that may become available for the day.

They release tickets on the morning you want to go, I think at 9.15am. You'll easily get two tickets for the day.

I have tickets for next Monday for a family of 4 at 4pm if anyone wants them? I forgot that my daughter would be back in school then. Happy to send them to anyone that might use them?
