Just as the title says. I have money for my dc in another country. I want to move it into a child’s saving account here in Ireland what are my best options here. Thank you so much ☺️

Depends on what you want it for. I have a credit union account for each DC. Money they are given for Christmas/ Birthdays goes in there. No one is allowed to withdraw. When they are 7 they can withdraw with me there. I can't remember the full rules, at maybe 12 they can withdraw 'reasonable' amounts alone. Then at 16 they have full access.

I also have an AIB online saver account labelled 'children' I usually put €300 into it each month. They will be for college or help with a car if they do a trade. Or for me to have a massive holiday if they don't need it!! But it is in my name, they won't be able to access it and probably won't know about it.

Neither have good interest. I looked into Zurich but the accounts would have been in DC names and I don't want that.
