Anyone else's teen head off today? Dd is 15, just finished 2nd year and is gone with a few friends. I know she's going to have so much fun (I loved it myself 30 years ago) and I'm delighted they have their phones rationed, but it is disconcerting that she's out of contact for the first time in her life.

Two of mine headed off on Sunday. I was so envious! I think the no phone policy will be really good for them. Driving down on Sunday to see them, will have the car loaded up with food (and the rain gear they left behind)!

Dd called during her 30 mins of phone time yesterday to say the food was brilliant so that's one thing we don't have to bring at the weekend. A raincoat on the other hand... 😂

Dd is off as a cinnire next month. She has been every year of secondary and loves it so much. Yours kids will have a ball. It is the highlight of DDs summer.

I would have loved to be a ceannaire!

Dd used her precious phone time this evening to request her good runners and a water bottle 😅
