Queens Belfast first year accommodation

Hi, could anyone tell me which halls are best for first year students? We have put BT9 as our first two choices but not sure which of the other Queens accommodations to put for the next 4 choices. Any suggestions or opinions most welcome. Thanks

Avoid room 611. ( Uncanny reference)

We’re Belfast based - any of DD’s friends that ended up in Elms BT9 hated it as it’s overly strict re: security. Having friends round was borderline impossible. Go for Elms BT1 or BT2 instead if you can, bonus point is that they’re both newer and very modern. Avoid Student Roost @ Great Patrick St & Liv Student, both in quite an unsafe area that I certainly wouldn’t want a teenage girl walking alone at night in!

Thanks for replying. Does that mean there are set times for curfews coming in and out?
