Boozy Lunch Dublin

Hi everyone,

Meeting a gang of friends (mid thirties) in Dublin for a lunch celebration. Have looked at brunch places also for bottomless brunch but we prefer lunch food to breakfast and would rather a range of cocktails and wine than just mimosa and billinis.

We'd like somewhere lively but not tacky. Have been looking at Market Bar, Nolita, Beef and Lobster...

Any recommendations please.

Have a look at Fallon & Byrne, main restaurant. They have some lovely tables at the windows (for six-ish people).

Balfes in the Westbury is nice.

Salamanca on Andrew Street. Great atmosphere
Chez Max off Dame Street. Excellent French food & authentic atmosphere
The Cellar Bar or The Garden Room at the Merrion hotel are both fab too.
