PPSN...help!

Living in the UK for near ten years and the time has come to renew my passport, only to realise I have no idea what my PPSN is! I have no record of it anywhere. Google says to contact the Irish revenue office, just wondering if they can give this information out over the phone and roughly how long does it take to get?

Have you any old Irish payslips? It would be on that. Otherwise contact your local social welfare office to where you grew up. They should be able to find it for you.
