Hi. Looking for advice on a school for my daughter. She has been offered Holy child Killiney and Loreto Dalkey. We will be new to the area so looking for some experiences you might have on either school. Thank you

I know a number of parents who have girls in Loreto Dalkey and they have only good things to say about it. Based on location and facilities I would be choosing Loreto.

Is there much of a difference in fees ?

I'd go with Holy Child. I have friends whose daughters went to both and loved them, but the HC family seemed to love HC more than the LD family loved Loreto. Friends of my own who went to HC (decades ago now) loved it.

I'll answer my own question.
From what I can see on the internet Holy Child fees are €7,100
Loreto Dalkey fees are € 4,800
€2,300 in the difference.
That's a lot.
I'd be asking myself why .
What do you get for the extra in HC ?
What are class sizes like ?
How many of each class ?
Which school is easier for access from home ?
