Where to donate unused chocolates and biscuits in Ireland

I was given some tubs of chocolates and a tin of biscuits as presents. There are only two of us here and it would take us months to get through them. Anyone know of an Irish charity or food bank type set up that might take them?

Are there small local charities that do food runs etc, there's several in Dublin like the Muslim Sisters etc that I'd imagine would take them to hand out. Or you local St V De Paul/Simon group might

Some charities offer to take any chocolates/biscuits if they have a reasonably long BB date that they can then use them to make up hampers for upcoming raffles.

I drop a box of biscuits into my local nursing home and I have left unopened items into my local meals on wheels centre to be used by the volunteers. You could leave them into a charity shop for the volunteers?

I plan to drop some to the local women's refuge, is there one near you that you could contact?
