Hi me amd dd are going to Belfast next week for the night. I have a disabled son who takes up alot of my time and every now and again me and dd go away for the night. We are flying from Edinburgh but still haven't booked a hotel. Can someone recommend a cheap hotel easy from the airport please. It would be a bonus if it had things close by to walk too
Thanks

Have you looked on booking. com, or directly at reasonably priced hotel chains? I’m planning a trip for the Spring.

Last week I stayed at the titanic quarter premier inn, with the marina and titanic quarter attractions nearby. Its 5 minute taxi from Belfast city airport

City airport?

Room2
The Flint
Leonardo
Bullit
Hampton
Are all in the city centre so close to shops and restaurants.

Is it the City Airport that you're flying into?

What age is your DD and what kind of thing are you into? (Museums, shopping, nature ...? )

Watch what airport you're flying into. Belfast City is in Belfast and handy for everything.
Belfast international isn't in Belfast, it's about 20 miles from Belfast, there's no train service but there are busses and taxis.

We stayed at the maldron 2 years ago. Fairly handy and nice enough.

Thanks everyone we're flying into Belfast International unfortunately but will bus it to Belfast. I'm going to show dd the hotels mentioned and let her decide. Quite like the sound of premier inn at cathedral

I wouldn’t stay at titanic quarter- arse end of no where and will be freezing. Hotels are nice but it’s stuck out beyond east Belfast.
Leonardo and Europa handy for city centre.

The bus will come into the new bus station (Grand Central) which is actually a tad less central than the old one (it’s built just behind it) and could be a bit of a hike to some of the city centre hotels situated east or north of the City Hall. The station is (easy walking distance) near the Fitzwilliam Hotel (I’ve not stayed in it, but looks nice) and that’s still central enough to not need taxis for anywhere in the city. Belfast is a small city and easy to navigate (imho) so you will be fine anywhere really. I agree with the comment about the Titanic Quarter. 🥶
