October mid-term: A query

We are not planning on going away during the summer break but are thinking of heading away to somewhere warm for the October mid-term break and I'm wondering where is a good place to go to that is warm (not hot) at that time of the year.

If we were going away now, I'd know where is open for business but just not sure where to go at that time of the year.

Any suggestions?

I think somewhere in the Canaries is your best bet. We went to Fuerteventura a few years ago for Oct midterm, weather was warm but not too hot - mid 20s.
Last year went to Portugal in early October, it was nice weather but not sure if it would still be warm (low 20s) in late Oct.

in 2021 we went to the Algarve for a October midterm. The weather was perfect - late 20s, ideal for sunbathing and water parks - but not sure if that was the norm or just a good year.

Often go away in October. Gran Canaria (south part) is the warmest part of fgd canaries. Puerto de Mogan and Puerto Rico are lovely. Sea and pool temperatures warm enough. Also been to algarve and southern Spain. Weather warm during days, chilly at night and pools too cold.
