Virgin Media Broadband - anyone with them???

Just wondering if anyone is with Virgin Media for their broadband only? Do you need to use a WiFi booster in your home and if you do, what brand do you use?

I've noticed that our broadband WiFi is quite weak out in the garden (not a huge garden by any means, like just stepping outside the back door and on our phones we're not getting great coverage) so I thought about getting a booster to plug in near the back door to boost coverage.

I'm completely useless at tech but we do have Virgin media broadband and tv so felt I should reply to you.
I had to get a booster thingy - TP link and even with it the internet isn't great upstairs.
The walls are fairly thick. House is over 70 years old. It's not huge but not your average semi either

We have virgin and also had weak spots throughout the house. We have a deco mesh system which bounces the signal around - works like a dream. Expensive but well worth it.
