I'm looking for recommendations on a mainstream school for my DD who is autistic.
We have had some EBSA this year, although her primary school have been excellent in adapting to her needs and her school attendance has much improved.
She keeps up academically, but struggles with some of the social aspects of things.
I'm really worried about how she will cope with high school, but I'm hopeful that she can attend with the right support.
We are based in Lisburn, so most kids in our area are going to school in Lisburn/south Belfast/Dromore/Lurgan etc.
Any insights very welcome!
