It has just been announced that Ireland, along with Spain and Norway, now officially recognise Palestine as a separate state. I have to say, as an Irish person I am very proud that we are speaking up and hopefully this will lead to a cessation of the bloodshed of both sides.

Agree OP. While there are many things to complain about in our country, I feel a sense of pride in what we stand for these days and how we are represented internationally. That counts for a lot. I can imagine plenty of good Israeli people are watching in horror at what their country has become and what they will be unfairly judged for in the future.

False flag terror attacks? I hope that's not a suggestion that the murders and rapes on Oct 7th that precipitated this dreadful war were an inside job or something??

Puppalicious · 23/05/2024 13:28

It is welcome but I think it is being insanely optimistic/delusional to think it will lead to the cessation of bloodshed!

Not at all. But Mossad has form here. Like their predecessor the Irgun who planted bombs in synagogues around the middle east to encourage Jewish people to move to Palestine as it then was. They used Irish passports to assassinate a Palestinian in Dubai. Very ruthless and single minded. Though they occasionally make mistakes - like when they murdered a Moroccan waiter in Oslo in error.

Looks like this thread will be zapped. But there's lots of books by reputable sources out there.

False flag ops by Mossad would be a waste of resources, though, wouldn't they, it's not like Hamas need any help..

I wouldn't know. But I don't expect Hamas to cause trouble in Norway , Spain or Ireland any time soon.
