Is it possible to use a service like Parcel Motel now?

Just wondering if there is a service that will allow people in the Rep of Ireland to buy from sites that don't deliver to Ireland under normal circumstances but would deliver to an address like Parcel Motel (which would then forward it to our actual postal address)?

Just having a bit of a thought this morning and I can see that delivery to Ireland isn't possible but something like this might be...I've got my fingers crossed that it might still be possible.

An Post offer this service. I think they call it addresspal

Ya address pal is the only one afaik. I miss Parcel Motel, I buy and sell clothes on Preloved FB groups and it was much cheaper than through postal system

You can use the An Post scheme but between taxes, duty & their charge it aint cheap !

Seems its possible to get things delivered to the 6 counties ( post offices and some other locations ). How would you be to pickup from 'just the other side' of the border ?

If not convient then it seems that buying in Europe + P&P is what many are doing.

What service gets parcels delivered to Post Offices in NI? I'd be interested in hearing more about this

Things change with time but IIRC if you are buying from Amazon UK then there are many locations in NI that they will deliver to that you can pickup from ( many are post offices - but not all )

Have a recollection that one of the Parcel Motel guys set up a scheme where you could have things delivered to just north of the border ( Jonesborough ? and perhaps other locations ) . ( Suspect that I read of this in the shambles that Boards.ie now is ).

Also, would wonder if you can have things sent to 'Post Restante' to P.O.s in N.I. ...
