Waterford Crystal

My lovely parents are downsizing and have a big selection of crystal. Anyone any idea if there is a second hand market for this and ideally a buyer/shop etc that buys direct? I have looked on eBay but not sure about how you prove authenticity and also can’t imagine posting them wouldn’t end in disaster.

they are in the North but could travel.

Afaik, it's not worth much. Maybe if you had a rare item, that might make something, but in general i don't think it's particularly valuable.

I've sold Waterford Crystal on Ebay. I got around £100 for a £350 item, a decanter. Best to put a 'buy it now' price rather than auction.
Plenty of bubble rack in a reasonably tight box for posting

And it should be marked Waterford on the foot of the glasses.

Adverts.ie not bad for this kind of thing but for fragile/difficult to ship stuff generally want pick up in person or similar

Where abouts are they based? Any idea what they have? Waterford stuff is lovely and very difficult to get now.

I have sold stuff on adverts, there are lots of collecters and dealers on there, I never deliver, if people are interested they will collect.

I bought Stuart crystal glasses on EBay to replace our wedding glasses that had broken or chipped over the last 20 odd years. They were almost the price they were in 2002!
