New Government Lear Jet

Sweet divine Jesus.
The government are going to spend €45,000,000 on a new jet according to The Journal.
As a taxpayer and citizen I object. We have carers of special needs children on our airwaves telling us the resources to educate their children and give them some respite just aren't there.
Our health system is a shambles.

And yet the Irish government - Fine Gael, Fianna Fáil and the Greens believe spending €45,000,000 on a government jet is a good idea.

WTAF

So much for carbon emissions. I remember Jack Lynch saying he didn't need a helicopter , his Merc was enough.

Those were innocent days....

Wonder what could possibly be their justification here.

I would rather it was invested in special needs/education and support.

I cannot understand why they can do this but the elderly aren't supposed to burn turf.. One rule for the powers that be... Sod the rest of us (pardon the pun!)
