We're planning on spending our first big family Christmas in Cork with Irish family, although not from the area. We've hired a house and will be self catering. We have a family tradition of Aromatic crispy duck on Christmas Eve which we buy frozen, from a local big Asian supermarket on the edge of London. Just wondering if there were any in Cork where we could do the same, or ideally who would deliver. I know there are Chinese restaurants in the locality, but that's not what I want. I want something we can cook at home (and isn't from a general supermarket. Any advice, very gratefully received

Check out the English Market in Cork City.
Lots of wild and wonderful foods on offer there.
Crubeens ( pigs feet ) anyone ?

There’s a place called, I think Wing Fat Hong in the Marina Commercial Centre on Centre Park Rd. Caveat that I’ve never shopped there.
