Electricity bill just too much

Electricity bill €329 for period of 3rd March to 3rd May
I can't do it anymore I just can't keep up with it, I'm months behind with the property tax, mortgage money out this week, eir and Bord Gais bills are due within the next 2-3 weeks
Before all these increases everything got paid on time with money left over now everything is off the scale expensive and I just can't cope anymore it's too much
I've had to pay out a lot of extra money this last month for medical stuff and as you know it's not cheap
Anyone else feel the same way with it all getting too much, how do we pay these bills when we literally can't cover it all.. anyone else in my sinking boat

Yeah. It's hard going. OK with electricity bill because we got solar earlier in the year. Worried about the mortgage though. Looks like it'll go up a few hundred. Rising food bills as well and there's always extra stuff like car tax or kids camps. We'll be just about OK but I'm having to be a lot warier with spending.

What makes my blood boil is the insanely high profits energy companies are making. And being allowed to make by our useless government.
The owners of Bord Gáis, Centrica are set to post profits of £3.3 billion for 2022.
How is that possible ?
Because the ordinary man and woman are paying through the nose for their energy supply.
And the government are funding support to the public via taxpayer's money
It's completely mad.
Why are the Irish people just taking it ?
