I read in the mirror that child benefit was coming today this month, rather than Tuesday as usual. Has anyone got it yet?

Mine went in today but I thought it was just Monday payments being made early, not sure why Tuesday payments would as Tuesdays a normal banking day ?

@Lizzt2007 it's because it always comes on the first Tuesday of the month but it's just early because of closed banks on Monday

Yes but banks are open Tuesday, so Tuesday payments shouldn't be affected 🤷‍♀️

Just checked and mine is there today (probably since yesterday), PTSB.
Because Monday is a Bank Holiday no payments will be processed on Monday so anything due on Tuesday will need to be processed the previous working day, hence Friday.
