Poor Bród. St Bernard's don't seem to live very long. My sheepdog collie cross was 16 by comparison. He'll need a new friend for Misneach now.

Bród was a Bernese Mountain Dog, not a St. Bernard. You’re right though, very short life expectancies and he did well getting to 11. Stunning dogs, but I couldn’t go through that loss of regularly.

I saw that photo in one of the newspapers and though it was stunning! So picturesque, the colours are so bright it looks like a painting.
