Spa day Northern Ireland

Any recommendations for a spa day or a spa stay in Northern Ireland (or border counties.) And what sort of prices?

I'm looked at the rabbit but not sure what it has apart from the outdoor poo. And if it's only that, is it enough?

Probably not for treatments although one of us would get a facial if they look good. We are happy staying in a hotel nearby or one attached.

Def avoid the outdoor poo.

salthouse in ballycastle, castle leslie and galgorm all supposed to be nice. Galgorm best known.

Galgorm is lovely and has lots of different pool and sauna areas. It can be very busy though.

Galgorm is best known but expensive. They've taken over the Crawfordsburn Inn so you could look at that?

The Merchant spa is lovely but is more treatments than the pools and stuff.

I'll rule out merchant and look at the others. I was surprised at the prices of galgorm- either they do good offers that aren't on their website ATM, or people I know have different ideas of what's an affordable day out! This is for a treat but still I would prefer not to pay those prices, looking at £150 no treatments no food. But then again maybe that's just the price of these things these days?

Galgorm are taking the piss with their prices. And still "gifting" stays to random instagrammers!! I refuse to darken their door!

A friend went to The Rabbit and liked it but said the drinks were £££

What about Roe PARK resort in Limavady?
Or the Ballyliffin in Donegal (not NI I know but close to border)
The Shandon in Donegal as well is brilliant but again not NI

Galgorm is extortionate but lovely. I live very near the Crawfordsburn Inn but haven't looked into the spa there. I do know they've put up the rest of their prices and pissed off all the locals. Culloden spa is very nice

Galgorm is one of the best, although pricey. They do a twilight session, think you maybe get a meal as well, which would be lovely in those surroundings.

The shandon in Donegal is lovely too, although further to drive.

I also like the Slieve donard. Wasn't that fussed on the culloden, think I was expecting it to be a lot better given it's quite an upmarket hotel.

Corrick house is lovely if you combine it with an overnight stay there. You must book one of the private areas and have Prosecco in your own outdoor hot tub, it's fabulous, and I remember thinking it was reasonably priced

The Galgorm is OK. Very busy. When I was in the sauna, a woman started chatting to me. As soon as I replied and she heard my accent from the Republic, she looked at me in absolute horror and didn't say another word. Not exactly friendly and welcoming 😂

The Culloden is dire, for everything. Avoid.

The Rabbit is a very small version of galgorm. It feels a bit more cool. There is the main pool, several hot tubs, steam room, sauna and salt room. It was considerably cheaper than galgorm when we booked. We usually go to galgorm but can't justify the price at the minute.

Try Kileavy castle in Armagh. Great prices with a spa and great food and rooms.

I was coming to recommend Killeavy castle too. It’s lovely.

Stayed in Ralphs in moira. Omg the decor is just fabulous. Lovely gastro bar right beside it.
Plenty of beauty place locally in moira . Maybe do a diy.
