Car insurance for 18 year old ds

Living in Ireland. Just wondering …. Best car insurer for my ds … to be named driver on my policy, and any idea of cost? It is his first provisional liscence and he is taking driving lessons at the moment.

We've been through this with DS. I put him on my insurance last year. It cost around €1100 extra.
He passed his test thankfully and he has insurance in his own name for his own car now. It was €2400 and they took the 1 year he had as a named driver into account which reduced the premium by about €600.
We used a broker to get the best price.
