Procedure after positive test

Hi, just wondering if the Dr will book me a dating test for my pregnancy. I last gave birth in the UK, so don't know how it works in Ireland. I have know idea how many weeks I am. I have a small bump. Thought I was just getting fat! I miscarried in August and went to the local hospital for a scan. They told me I'd had a full miscarriage but now I'm wondering if they were right! Will the Dr book me in or do I have to book a private scan?

I would definitely speak to your GP as they will have to find a way to date your pregnancy to give you the appropriate level of care eg to know when to book the 20
week anomaly scan and further appointments. It will probably mean referring you for a dating scan but talk to them first.
