Just wondering if anyone is following the story that Gemma O'Doherty has withdrawn her appeal today (only withdrew it today) against a conviction in relation to an altercation between her and a member of the Gardaí last year?
I was just thinking that she should be charged with wasting Garda time as they would have had to prepare for the court case to be heard today, the prosecution and the judge had also allocated time for this case to be heard, but at the last minute, she withdraws her appeal.
Any thoughts?
