Hello Irish vipers. Any recommendations for a nice day spa you've been to, preferably in Dublin? I'm 42 next year so booking it for that. Just 2 of us going, and it's a weekday, so hopefully I'll avoid hen parties.

The only 1 I really know, Buff Day Spa on South William Street (right next to Grafton Street and Stephen's Green) was great pre-covid, but I haven't been able to get back there since a basic facial in summer 2020 (when things opened up a bit). And as so many places have closed down or really struggled with staffing as well as costs and trying to get customers back since, I couldn't vouch for it now (as I haven't a clue - I have no reports at all, good or bad, or my own experience).

The massage place I used to go to has closed down completely. (But that was only massage and/or floating tanks, not a spa).

The Shelbourne Hotel has a nice spa. Bit pricey but maybe you could combine with afternoon tea.

We did the 4 seasons a few years ago. It was genuinely perfect.

A bit out of town but Carton House was lovely.

The Shelbourne is lovely sit looking out at people but feel so far removed from the pace outside. Nice to get breakfast, lunch there too.

Aqua Sana at Center Parcs in Longford is amazing, and only like an hour or so out of Dublin so not a bad option
