Ah here - Daithí is a distinct improvement on Dickie Rock.

Some interesting dresses this year. The green gone with the wind dress was interesting, especially Mickey Mouse ears as accessory de choix

I think Daithi is the ideal "how ya" type of culchie to ham it up for the international viewers.

The Galway Rose got a lot of media attention in the week before the show because she's an undertaker. Wouldn't surprise me if she won but I haven't seen all the roses.
