Finally got an aib account.
But I need 6 months of credit card statements to get an aib credit card. Hmm tried to save as pdf and it told me file too large.
Still, phew.
Glad I've got another account.
Just need to ring
Gas
Electricity
Broadband
Laya
House insurance
And go online to update tesco, amazon and recycling×rubbish Co.

Omg
Need a lie down thinking about all the admin which I will have to do at home as work so busy!!

Oh yeh talking of work I must give them new bank details.

And letter Kenny for the child benefit.

Think that's it.

I'll take a day off when I get the atm card from aib.

Luckily ulster bank Allowed me to transfer money in without using the card reader! So, small mercies made my day yesterday!

Oh God, sounds like a total nightmare. I'm with PTSB thankfully. It had idly crossed my mind that it must be an inconvenience having to close off your bank account and open up a new one, but I'd forgotten about all the direct debits that would need to be sorted.

Life admin. is very time consuming. I don't relate to the many posters on MN who scornfully declare that they get it all done in two minutes on their lunch break.

I know, I have a list of 'to do'' things and it's constant! Right now it's scaring me. I'm going to TRY and make one phone call every morning this week as I get in earlier than my boss. Not that she'd mind, or reprimand me or penalise me in any way if I sat there sorting it all out. BUT, I'm at work to work so I'll try and spread it out a bit!

I moved from kbc to boi quite easily a few months ago, did it all online. Only thing is that kbc have made it quite difficult to close my account. Keep insisting I write a letter but then claim to never have received it. Yet still charge me fees 🙄

Oh wow, sounds ridiculous when it's their decision to pull out! Everytime I log on to ulster bank app I am prompted to close my account!
