Cork and Dingle - Suggestions!

Cork and Dingle...we will have 1 day in Cork and 1 day in Dingle...Does anyone have any suggestions of places to eat what is there to see, stopping of on the way to Dingle. We haven't got loads of time so any ideas of what is a must see and what we can miss would be great!

It's not a lot of time, and depends on what you like, but some recommendations from me are:

• Visit Nano Nagle center and lunch at Good Day Deli
• Walk around the English Market, and main Patrick Street area
• Walk out from city center along the river towards Fitzgerald's Park and walk across to the lively UCC campus, walk the corridors of the quad with old ogham stones. It's a few km walk, but all flat and easy
• Casanova Gelato is great if you like ice cream

Cork is full of great restaurants & cafes. The restaurant at the top of the Dean hotel has outside terraces & good views. Market Lane on Oliver Plunkett St has a varied menu & good reputation. Cafe Paradiso is a renowned vegetarian restaurant that even non-veggies will like.
