So sad to read all the recent allegations.. I'm trying to post a link but it won't work for me.. The poor zebra & giraffe that died in the Zoo's care.. The staff were apparently distraught & obviously so but feared reprisal from management... It puts me off going to the zoo if this is the way senior management treats the animals & their care team...

I didn't hear anything.
What happened ?
Where is it reported ?

@LadyEloise1 that's RTEs version but if you Google further apparently there's serious issues of animal neglect & cover ups.. Shocking

This is so awful.

I hate zoos anyway. There is absolutely no need for them and the animals in them must suffer away from their natural environments even if cared for adequately.

It's heartbreaking, I truely believed Dublin Zoo was one of the better ones.. Prefer Fota though, the animals have much more space
