Got a confusing call from Bord Gais

Asking me did i want to sign up for some new deal, but when I asked if it was cheaper than what I was charged last year he said no. The price has gone up but there's a 25% discount I couldn't follow. Then he said that there was a cooling off period, so if I agreed, I could change my mind. If it's a good thing, why would I change my mind.

Can anybody tell me what to do! :-|

Are you 100% they were Bord Gais? Be cautious re scammers

Go to bonkers.ie. You can use that to compare prices and get the best deal…you might be better switching to another company.
I switched to Energia and got a 41% discount and €135 cash back (deducted from bills 1 and 3).
