Junior infant vaccinations

Has your Junior infant got their vaccinations done locally/in the school? We’ve just been told that all of Kerry have to travel to Tralee for theirs.
For some of us that’s a 4hr round trip, a day off work, a day off school and a full tank of petrol, it seems mad. I’m just wondering if this is a countrywide directive?

We haven't done ours yet, Dublin school. They're hoping to do them end of May/early June. The vaccination teams have been hit with a combination of staff out with Covid, delays due to staff having earlier been diverted to do Covid vaccines, and catching up with HPV vaccinations in secondary schools. They're massively under pressure and I guess if everyone comes to them in one place, it'll mean they can get more done rather than travelling all around themselves.
