Teen in Dublin

Hi all

I'm looking for a fun, slightly different idea to do for 1 day in Dublin with a young teen girl.

1 day only and hoping for suggestions that don't involve museums or waking around "looking at stuff"...

Sounds slightly basic but I want experiential fun activities that would engage with a teen.

We won't have a car so it would need to be accessible in Dublin.

Any recommendations for a bakery day, pamper day, cooking lesson?! That's sort of thing, stuff that might be known to people who live in Dublin and not on the usual trip advisor sites.

Things I've seen already:
Roller Disco
Bowling
Cinema
Zip wire

Thanks to anybody who can help me!

SmileThanks

There's a bus tour that serves tea. I quite fancy it myself. www.vintageteatrips.ie

Is she into music? My DS went to Windmill Lane Studios with his school last week and was talking about it non-stop for a couple of days. www.windmilllanerecording.com/tours/visitor-experience/

I've done cooking classes in Dublin Cookery School and really enjoy them. They have one day classes at the weekend. About 10 mins walk from the Dart in Blackrock and close to a couple of bus routes from the city centre. Where are you planning to stay? Cinema is fine in town but roller skating will mean bus or luas too (if I'm rememberingit right). Ziplining will be difficult without your own transport.

Butler's Chocolate Experience.
Croke Park Skyline Tour

Thanks all

We are staying near Dalkey so can dart about town.

I'll check out the suggestions, I'm just trying to avoid a museum or shopping - only because we did this on our last trip!

Keep them coming, grateful 🙏

@DeliaOwens I didn't think this was still on, I couldn't find it?

I think this could be a hit!

If you're on the Dart, how about a trip to Howth? Walk Howth head and stop for nice food? There's a boat trip you could get back to Dun Laoghaire. And if you like water sports, there's a dalkey island kayaking trip that looks fun.
